aicpa-logoMeredithCPAs is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section of the AICPA. The firm undergoes a professional peer review by an independent CPA firm every three years. Peer review is a periodic outside review of a firm’s system of quality control for accounting and auditing services. The CPA Peer Review Program is dedicated to enhancing the quality of accounting, auditing and attestation services performed by CPA’s in public practice.

All Texas CPA firms that provide audit, review or compilation services are required by both the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) to have a peer review. To maintain a firm license, the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy also requires firms undergo peer review.

MeredithCPAs has participated in the peer review program since the inception of peer review. In addition, the firm maintains a stringent quality control program in all areas of client services.

MeredithCPAs also serves as peer reviewers for other firms as part of the AICPA Peer Review Program. Our qualified team can review your firm’s financial statements to ensure it is in accordance with AICPA standards.
